Dance

I have been ballroom dancing socially and competitively since 2012: one year with the University of Minnesota Ballroom Dance Team, and the rest with the University of Southern California's Ballroom Dance Team under the instruction of Lorena Bravo and Jonathan Atkinson.

My partner Erin and I dance American Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, and Viennese Waltz) in the Open Novice and Pre-Championship levels—the second- and third-highest levels of dance available at collegiate dance competitions.

In addition to dancing at USC, I was proud to serve as a board member of the USC Ballroom Dance Team for three years: Member Outreach Chair for the 2014-2015 academic year, and President for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 academic years. In my final year as president, I co-organized the team's first at-home dance competition, "Glamour Smackdown".
